Welcoming the coronavirus vaccine in Gujarat with open arms
Ahmedabad, Gujarat : After the worship ritual, 475 boxes full of coronavirus vaccine
weighing 32 kgs each were dispatched from serum institute of India Pvt. Ltd. Pune to all
across the country.
With airtight Z+ security, the coronavirus vaccine has finally reached to Ahmedabad civil
hospital from Ahmedabad Airport. First batch arrived from Pune to Delhi on
12 th January 7:00 am.
The vaccine has been sent to 13 different cities all over India via 9 flights and every city
has been allotted 56.6 lakh dosages each. The first city to have access to the vaccine is
Ahmedabad following Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.
The vaccine will be provided to each and every citizen of the state gradually according
to the population of each state 2 batches of the vaccine are expected.
Regardless the government of every state is trying their level best to make the reach of
the vaccine as vast as possible.
